When you vendor a full set of rare gear, you will receive 1 chaos orb. If the set is unidentified you will receive 2 chaos orbs. A full set consists of a helmet, gloves, boots, chest, belt, 2 rings, and amulet. You will also need a 2 handed weapon, or a 1 handed weapon and a shield.
Didn't know that! Thought all gear had to be 20% quality. Thanks =)

ReplyDeleteAt the date i right this , didn't worked at me, i have over 40 pieces of all kind of rare gear, tryed all combinations( respecting the full set rule , like in description ) i only manage to get 2 X ORB OF CHANCE .

ReplyDeleteBut... Just wanted to let you know that this trick only works on item level 60+ I believe. I couldn't get it to work with unidentified or identified rares earlier, and after some googling, I found out that there is the item level requirement.

This was changed in a patch so you can't just farm lower ilvl sets to get chaos orbs. I do want to keep the post because months down the road you will look back at this and laugh at how easy farming currency was.
